Rape Crisis Intervention
Verity’s sexual assault and rape crisis line is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is staffed by trained, compassionate, California State Certified sexual assault victim counselors for confidential counseling, emergency assistance, information, and referrals. Crisis intervention is provided to anyone affected by sexual assault, including survivors and their family and friends.

Trauma Counseling
Verity extends sexual abuse, trauma, and rape counseling services to clients who have been physically and/or emotionally traumatized at any point in their lives.
By working with families, friends, and significant others of survivors, we are able to support all individuals affected by trauma. We work with adults and children who are over the age of six and provide individual, group, couples, and family counseling.

Community Education
In keeping with the mission and philosophy of Verity, our Prevention Education Department aims to increase our community’s awareness of sexual assault, sexual harassment, and child abuse.
We present prevention strategies and intervention advice through classroom and community presentations. All presentations are tailored to each individual group, are available in English and Spanish, and free of charge. We believe education is key to eliminating sexual violence from our community.
