Your Support Matters
Verity is Sonoma County’s sole rape crisis center and is dedicated to serving those who have been victimized by rape and sexual violence.
Since 1974, Verity has operated the county’s only 24/7 rape crisis hotline; staffed by state-certified rape crisis counselors providing immediate responses to victim needs.
Additionally, Verity provides prevention education workshops to over five thousand Sonoma County youths ages 5-19 annually. Our community outreach programs educate teachers, parents, coaches, and other groups about how to prevent sexual assault and related trauma.
Verity is a 501(c)3 non-profit agency relying solely on grants and donations.
Tax Deductible Donations
If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to Verity, we’re happy to help. Please contact Christine Castillo or call (707) 545-7270 for assistance.
Our EIN is #94-2437947. To request a donation receipt for a donation you have already made, please email [email protected].
Donate When You Shop Online
Verity is a member of both the Amazon Smile program and Giving Assistant. These programs donate a percentage of your online purchases to Verity every time you shop online. If you have already selected a different organization to give to through Amazon Smile, you will have to change your selection to Verity.
We also maintain an Amazon wishlist of items that will help our clients, staff, and office. Your support is greatly appreciated and we thank you in advance for any donation you are able to provide.
