The Board of Directors is charged with providing oversight and guidance to ensure that the organization is in good financial health, and making sound strategic decisions.
Verity is seeking passionate individuals committed to our mission to join the Board of Directors and contribute to furthering this important work in the community.
Board members are expected to attend a monthly meeting, mostly via Zoom. Each board member serves on at least one sub-committee: finance, governance, development, nominating, or communications. The time commitment is 5-10 hours per month. In addition, board members are expected to make a financial contribution to support Verity, in an amount that is comfortable to them. A term with the board is three years, with an option to serve multiple terms.
