Ashmi Chokshi is a long-time SF Bay Area resident and a technology executive. Ashmi joined Verity’s board as is passionate about eliminating sexual violence from our society through a combination of advocacy, intervention, and survivor support.

She is a former Board fellow at Maitri, an SF Bay Area nonprofit helping South Asian survivors of domestic violence. She also volunteers her time for the causes of women’s rights and safety, democracy, and local priorities.

In her role at Verity and other non-profit boards, her goal and expertise are to support the ED and staff in scaling the impact of our work to more people and programs. She brings leadership and management mentoring, organization management, strategic planning, marketing and communications, and budget optimization to Verity’s team.
